DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) is a cyber attack that targets a server, website or network by overwhelming it with a flood of internet traffic, making it inaccessible to legitimate users. This type of attack is executed by using multiple devices (often called botnets) to generate an enormous amount of traffic towards the target, thereby making it impossible to handle the requests from legitimate users.
